Why have a recreational section?
Recreational rowers are valuable members of your club! They make great volunteers, so harness their abilities!
They:
- pay membership fees, but use the boats less often than racing members
- help with club administration
- help with social events
- help with fund raising
- help with coaching
- may use the club at times when it is less busy
But racing boats don't make ideal recreational / touring boats, find out what is available on our equipment page.
